Arne Emil Jacobsen Bio:

Jacobsen is renowned for his breakthrough designs in the 1950's, such as the Egg and Swan chairs which he designed for the lobby and reception areas at the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. A Danish architect and designer, Jacobsen is one of the pioneering fathers of modern furniture design.
