Q. I bought a Milan Direct product some time ago. If I buy the same item now, will it be identical to the model I currently have?
We are constantly manufacturing stock to replenish our inventory. Whilst items generally follow identical production methods, we are always refining the manufacturing process and as such there may be some slight variations if a large amount of time has elapsed.

Q. Can I Purchase Products Not Listed On The Website?
With Milan Direct’s professional team of buyers, we are able to source any furniture piece worldwide. If there is an item that you wish to purchase that is not currently on our website, send us an email to 'sales@milandirect.com.au' and we will be happy to discuss further.

Q. What Is The Difference Between Your “Classic” And “Premium” Models?
Our popular reproduction Eames and Barcelona series use a combination of synthetic leather and premium Italian leather.
Our Premium models predominately use a top grain Italian leather whilst the Classic versions are constructed with a top quality synthetic leather.
Synthetic leather is man-made and is an extremely durable material and very hard to tell apart from the premium Italian leather.

Q: Can I Pay For My Order Upon Delivery?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer payment upon delivery as our couriers are not equipped to receive payments. As such full payment is required before your order is dispatched.

Q: If I purchase a Milan Direct product, will I be supplied with a Tax Invoice?
The Order Confirmation email that you receive when you make an order is a valid Australian Tax Invoice. If you have lost your invoice we will be happy to email you a new one. Simply email our sales team on sales@milandirect.com.au with your request.

Q: Is Local Pickup An Option?
Due to occupational health & safety (OHS) regulations at our warehouses we are unable to facilitate pickups of our furniture. All orders must be delivered using our extensive courier network.

Q: Can my item be delivered to a PO Box?
We are unable to deliver to a PO Box as all items are sent via our Australia wide courier system. Please ensure you provide a residential or business address during check out.

Q: Does Someone Need To Be Home To Accept Delivery?
It is necessary for someone to be available to accept delivery as we use a secure courier who requires a signature as proof of receipt. For your convenience, we recommend having your order sent to your work address if being at home during business hours is not an option.
Furthermore, our carriers provide a door-to-door service, which does not include carrying the items inside, carrying items up stairs, placement, or removal of packaging. For oversize items, current OH&S regulations with our couriers stipulate that the driver will require assistance unloading any items weighing over 25kg and we ask that someone capable of doing this is present for delivery.
If your order includes larger items or you are not comfortable carrying your items, we suggest having an additional person at the delivery address to assist with the placement of your items inside. -
Q: Does Your Postage Fee Include Insurance?
Yes, freight costs include full insurance.

Q: How Do I Track The Progress Of My Delivery?
By close of business on the day your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from our courier with full tracking details and information so that you can monitor your order online and in real time.

Q: How Long Will Delivery Take After Dispatch?
Typical delivery times expected are:

- * Sydney, Adelaide - Approximately 2-5 business days
- * Brisbane, Perth - Approximately 3-7 business days
All areas outside these metro locations please allow up to 8-10 business days.

Q: How Much Is Delivery?
We offer Australia wide courier for all products in the Milan Direct range. All items are usually dispatched within 24 hours of payment. To easily calculate your delivery, simply enter your postcode at the checkout screen.

Q: What are your Warranty Terms and Conditions?
Milan Direct warrants all goods for a period of 12 months under normal usage, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Milan Direct’s liability under this warranty is to repair or replace (at its discretion) any part or product covered by this (or any implied) warranty free of charge.
This warranty does not cover:
- 1. Normal wear and tear;
- 2. Damage arising from abnormal use, or abuse;
- 3. Products which have not been maintained, or which have been modified;
- 4. Any indirect or consequential loss.
This warranty applies only to the original purchase. Proof of purchase is required. All works carried out by a party under instructions from Milan Direct will be covered by the 12 month warranty on workmanship and repair. If the workmanship of the repair is deemed by Milan Direct to be faulty a new item will be provided. All other warranties, express or implied, are excluded.
