Originally designed in 1910 the Eames Replica House Bird Ornament was a prized possession of Ray and Charles Eames, who had this bird pride and place in their living room in the Eames House for over fifty years!. The Eames' were famous for collecting such ornaments on their extensive travels and used throughout the Eames House and this bird was known to be their favorite piece found. Charles and Ray Eames found this unique bird figure in the Appalachian mountain region of the eastern United States.

Tthe Eames Replica House Bird Ornament can be seen as an accessory in many of the Eames' photographs and advetising shoots. It is made from solid wood with a black lacquer finish and steel wire legs.

This is a stunning replica of one of Charles and Ray Eames most prized objects.
