Designer Profile: Verner Panton

Verner Panton Bio:
Panton was yet another architect turned furniture designer, albeit with a difference. Panton was by far the most innovative of all the renowned 20th century designers, as he took a bold, contemporary approach to design and, rather than looking to what had been done in the past, Panton was interested in producing highly innovative, fun designs that used cutting edge materials and technologies. Panton also stressed the importance of keeping his designs versatile and financially accessible to the mass market!
